Is This the Biggest Lie?

Me: You managers take everything personally!

My bestie: Because you guys made everyone believe that we are the reason people leave.

BOOMMMMM (And you ask me why I love my savage friends?)

So this morning, I made a list of my jobs and why I left. It turned out that 75% of the time the reason for changing the job wasn't the manager. BOOM.

However, during this exercise, I remembered clearly when I left due to the management, and I had to think about why I changed the other roles.

So, maybe, it is just another myth we have fallen for, and when we reflect on our own experiences, the data don't add up.
